It’s going to be a rough transition, but I’m done with Blog.com. I’ve been trying to get them to fix the comments for a realllllly long time.
Here is where I am putting stuff. It’s going to be very transitional for a while. Bear with me.
emilythegood.blogspot.com I am taking back EmilyTheGood. Because I’m not JUST EMILY. not really.

I’ve talked here about being a BzzAgent before. Periodically, I am given free or discounted items to try in exchange for my honest opinion on the campaigns. I’m currently taking part in one campaign, for Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist and Oil Diffuser Collection.
In my BzzKit, I received several coupons for reduced price Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist starter kits (along with one free one) and for Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser starter kits (again with one free one).
Being naturally skeptical, I wanted to start small, so I picked up only the free items. I got the fragrance mist in Cotton & Italian Mandarin. I got this scent because it is very clean smelling and I wanted it for our family room. Our cats hang out down there (they don’t like the dog and the dog likes to be upstairs with the family) and their litter boxes are down there. No matter how clean you keep the litter, an area like that always smells like cat. I definitely wanted something clean smelling to counteract it. Once I got home, I sprayed the room right away and the smell was fresh, clean and decidedly less cat smelling. I also picked up the oil diffuser for my bedroom. I got this one in Pineapple & Mangosteen. Once I got this one set up, my bedroom was filled with the scent of pineapple. (The mangosteen is also prominent, but I am definitely more familiar with a pineapple scent ) It also made the bathroom and hallway smell great. Delighted, I made a note to pick up a few more the next day.
I bought what I find to be my favorite of the collection next, using my discount coupons. I bought 3 more oil diffusers in Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice. I absolutely love these. They smell great, like fall. and I am so happy I picked them up. Here they are in action.
In my living room, Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice
In my bedroom, Pineapple & Mangosteen
In my son’s room, Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice
and in the family room, the Fragrance Mist is Cotton & Italian Mandarin and the Oil Diffuser is Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice.
Please ignore the dust in these pictures. I am so lazy about dusting. I should be embarrassed, but I’m just not. .
The only bad thing I can say about the Oil Diffuser is that it WILL spill if knocked over and left knocked over. This happened in my son’s room (surprise!), but it cleaned up easily and we’ve all been happy with these. My future refills will be most likely in the Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice. I’m planning on picking up a few more of the oil diffusers and one more fragrance mist for the upstairs.
I do have a few additional coupons. Any readers that want one, just reply in the comments that you would like them and I will reach out to you with an address to mail them out.
Thanks for letting me try this product, Glade and Bzz Agent. I’ve really enjoyed being involved in trying this out.

Posted under exercise, weight loss Tags: getting back on track.
I have exercised twice (not tracking points for it, because I don’t want to feel tempted to eat my APs) and have counted all of my points. I AM GOING TO EARN A NAIL POLISH. The first one will be 3 polishes, because I don’t own a base coat or topcoat.
I have 18 extra points left (damn you, Giordanos and your delicious, delicious deep dish pizza). That 18 extra points needs to last me straight through Sunday.
I’m feeling pretty good, the dog seems happy we are back on walkies and tonight I plan to also start some mild ST again. I have the Dirty Girl Mudrun this weekend, so that’s one more day of exercise. I only need to have four days, but I am aiming for 5-6.
I am not just in this to lose weight. I am in this to be healthier and to set a better example for my son.
I will be starting Couch to 5K over again. Possibly tonight. My dog loves it!
Be well, everyone!

I’ve been thinking about a reward system all day.
So, for now, I can buy one nail polish if I exercise for at least 20 minutes 4 times a week and track my food every day. I can take a LUSH bath if I also stay within my Points Plus and extra points.
In addition, when I hit my Weight Watchers 10%- I can get a pedicure.
When I get to a total of 35 lbs down, I can get another pedicure.
When I get to 20% of my starting body weight lost, I get a massage
When I get to my previous Weight Watcher’s Goal, I can get another massage.
That’s all I have got. I will re-evaluate from there. I might get to where I was and be happy. But I might not.

Changes are afoot here at the old blog. I’m changing a lot of the ways I do things. There will be subtle changes all over this place.
The main one is coming later today. I need to really think on it, but I am going to be rewarding my work, instead of punishing myself.
I am going to take away the things that have been causing me shame.
I’m going to finish this journey, damn it.

I’m not giving up. I just don’t have a lot to say.
I’m mostly on plan, but bingey. I tracked it though. I’m proud of that.

I’m eating healthfully. It’s very stressful at work right now. I will admit to stress eating, but as it goes, not that bad. I had 1/3 of a piece of cake and I had a Skinny Cow. Both unplanned, but both fit into my day just fine without any extra points.
I am just counting points and doing what I need to do.
I am not getting cocky. I’m just thinking that I am steering the ship the right direction. I thank all of my friends, family and readers for their support, but an extra thanks to Aimee who reached out to me at juuuust the right moment. I was this close *holds fingers together less than an inch* to giving up and working on being happy with Fat Me. I don’t want to do that.
Thanks, everyone, for hanging in there with me. We’ve all got this.
